Audi bestätigt Elektroauto für 2018 mit 500 km Reichweite

Demnach wird es einen SAV mit einer Reichweite von bis zu 500 km geben. Dies teilte Audi-Entwicklungschef Ulrich Hackenberg mit.

Bereits letzten Dezember schrieb ich über ein Elektroauto in 2017 für die Familie, welches eine Reichweite von bis zu 450 km besitzen sollte. „Such a car is under development. I was able to reengineer the R8 e-tron project and technology with the team and we are on the way to a range of 450km (280 miles). Let’s say that technology will also be carried over and is a trailer for another car with long range. It is under development and will be in the market for around 2017 but it will not be a sports car.”, so die Aussage von Prof. Dr.-Ing. Ulrich Hackenberg.

Jetzt hingegen teilte der Entwicklungschef mit, man wolle Anfang 2018 ein batterie-elektrisches Sports Activity Vehicle im Oberklasse-Segment mit einer Reichweite von mehr als 500 km herausbringen.

„In early 2018, we will launch a battery-powered sports activity vehicle in the large premium segment with a range of more than 500 kilometers. It will have a new, very attractive design, which we are developing especially for the e-tron range and for battery-electric vehicles. This sports activity vehicle will be built on the second generation of the modular longitudinal platform (MLB 2) – our concept for optimal drivetrain diversity implementation. You will hear and see more of this before the end of the year.“, Prof. Dr.-Ing. Ulrich Hackenberg, Member of the Board of Management of AUDI AG for Technical Development

Mit dem Audi A3 Sportback e-tron brachte Audi das erste eigene serienmäßige Plug-in-Hybridfahrzeug auf den Markt. In Genf stellt der Hersteller aktuell die Neuauflage des Audi R8 e-tron aus und dieser soll eine Reichweite von rund 450 km ermöglichen. Gleiche Batterie in einem Fahrzeug mit weniger Leistung würde demnach eine entsprechende Reichweite für ein Alltagsfahrzeug bedeuten. Vorab wird Audi allerdings den Audi Q7 e-tron 3.0 TDI quattro herausbringen und damit das zweite serienmäßige Hybridfahrzeug.
